Rounak Gulia is a professional female wrestler. Ronak is also known by the name Rounak Wrestler, she started her wrestling career in 2017 and is 24 years old currently and looking forward to making her family and the country proud.
Rounak is married to Ankit Gulia, her family and her in-laws’ side of the family is very supportive and always motivates her to work hard constantly towards her goal. She even started her wrestling career after getting married in 2017.
Rounak is a National level medalist in the National Wrestling Tournament three times. She even won the Star Warrior title in the first episode of the martial art – based reality show “India’s Ultimate Warrior ” hosted by none other than Vidhyuth Jammwal. She is really dedicated towards her wrestling career and works hard to make her family proud and to be known as a renowned wrestler.
She stepped into the field of wrestling during her college days. She was at that time pursuing B.Sc from IP college, Delhi University. Her teacher one day talked her into giving wrestling a shot as her physique was built that of a wrestler. Her teacher encouraged her by saying that it will be beneficial for both college and for Rounak. Ronak will earn extra credit scores and college will have a face in the field.
Once she stepped into this there was no looking back Rounak enjoyed practicing for wrestling from day one. Soon for her wrestling became something that her soul seeks. She made a decision to drop out of college and to concentrate solely on wrestling.
Undoubtedly that worked in her favor as she won 2019 Bronze, 2020 Silver and 2021 bronze continuously three years in a row. Rounak faced injuries during these times not once but many times but she never gave up and continued to work towards her goals.
Rounak is a great person and is really sweet and polite in nature. She is not a mother as of now but has a dream to make her kid a wrestler as well. She made everyone around her proud and she is the real model to look up for women empowerment.
