Almaty, Kazakhstan — 1 November 2026 — iHolding Group, led by Founder and Chairman Alain Khoueiry, is pursuing a long-term aviation and logistics strategy through its shareholding in SolitAir Kazakhstan and its plans for Cargo City in the Almaty region.
The ambition is to bring together international air-freight connectivity and the ground infrastructure required to support trade, distribution and business growth.
For Khoueiry, the opportunity lies in developing complementary capabilities across the supply chain. iHolding’s involvement in SolitAir Kazakhstan provides an avenue for participation in air cargo, while Cargo City is envisioned as a platform for logistics facilities, warehousing, distribution and related commercial activities.
“Kazakhstan’s location creates an important opportunity, but infrastructure, connectivity and reliable services are what turn that opportunity into economic value,” said Alain Khoueiry. “Our ambition is to develop businesses that help goods move efficiently and give companies stronger access to international markets.”
According to iHolding, the proposed Cargo City development covers approximately 4,500 hectares in the Almaty region. Its implementation will require detailed planning, applicable approvals, financing and coordination with infrastructure stakeholders.
The Group intends to explore partnerships with logistics operators, freight forwarders, investors and other industry participants as the development progresses. Potential collaboration will be assessed against commercial demand, operational requirements and long-term project viability.
“SolitAir Kazakhstan and Cargo City represent complementary elements of our wider vision,” Khoueiry added. “We see opportunities to support trade, attract investment and create a platform for business activity. Our focus now is on advancing the practical steps needed to bring that vision to life.”

iHolding will communicate further developments as project milestones and commercial agreements are confirmed.
