POSHAN Abhiyaan is the flagship program of the Government of India that aims at addressing health challenges in India to improve nutritional outcomes for children, adolescent, pregnant women and lactating mothers by the new emerging interventions and technology, a targeted approach and convergence.
The conference POSHAN PANCHAYAT’22 is being held by SHARP NGO with Lavender Healthcare as a part of broadening this Governmental effort.
It is a one of a kind event organised by SHARP NGO that intends to emphasize the Government’s this year’s theme of decimating nutrition-based knowledge with a focus on lowering the rate of undernutrition and also improving the nutritional status of vulnerable groups in India such as economically weaker section, women, children etc.
The event will be divided into five segments including Poshan Chaupal, Poshan Pakwan, Poshan Mela and Poshan Dangal. The segments will include discussions addressing the pressing issues such as malnutrition among adolescents in India, Research Poster presentations by scholars on novel research in the field of nutrition.
The conference is scheduled to take place on 24th September, 2022 at Vivanta by Surajkund, Faridabad.
